Simple Life Organisation Habits

Life Organisation Habits

Life; This can be hectic. It feels as though everything is just a big ball of cluster and hard to keep on top off. I want to share a few tips on what I do to help with managing everyday tasks with kids, work, and a small business.
Some days I get there and think, how am I suppose to achieve all this? But a few simple solutions and I feel good at the end of the day with what I have accomplished. I couldn’t stress enough that if you are unable to complete everything, do not beat yourself up over this. We are only humans and can only complete what we can do. It’s all about prioritising your tasks and planning out your goals for the day.
To Do List
Every night I write down a list of tasks I need to do for the following day. I prioritise the tasks to most important too “If I have got time”. With our busy lifestyles I cannot rely on my memory and my to do list becomes my best friend. The amount of times I have walked into a room to get something and I have forgotten what it was is ridiculous
Food Prep
With both myself and my partner working the last thing I want to think about is cooking tea at the end of the day. A habit I have gotten into is prepping everything for tea, so that when it is time to cook everything is cut up and ready to be thrown in. While doing this I organise my daughter’s lunchbox for the following day so when we have those mornings when getting ready for school is a mission, it is 1 less thing to worry about.
Clean up regularly
If you keep on top of your cleaning. (Doesn’t have to be hours!) Just make sure everything is tidy and put a way. It makes you feel on top of your tasks and easier to manage. I am one who can’t go to bed with a messy house, so if I keep on top of this, I won’t be spending my time before bed packing away everything. This then gives me chill out time with my hubby & kids.
Organisation & Decluttering
Decluttering isn’t always a daily task but something important to keep on top off. I usually concentrate on 1 room at a time. If I am available for the day I will focus on a room and pull everything out to sort through. Yes, it looks like a storm has hit the joint when your doing this but once you are stuck into it the end result is worth celebrating. This is also a good opportunity to ensure you have got everything properly stored, and of course labelled. I can help you with that!!
My partner and I also have a weekly planner board. Every Sunday we will put our plans up for the week. This allows us to see where & what we will be doing. This way we are able to plan what we are doing with the kids, and we can help each other out with certain tasks. It is a WIN WIN!!
